This two-day statewide conference will provide an update on substance abuse and impaired health care professionals.  A multidisciplinary planning group has brought together nationally recognized experts in the field of addictions and health care professionals.  While each professional group has some unique practice concerns, all share the need for better understanding of addictive disease, treatment, recovery work and reentry to practice.

Attendees will include physicians, nurses, pharmacists, dentists, chemical dependency counselors, therapists, social workers and other health care providers, as well as recovering professionals.
