Who can make referrals?

Any healthcare professional licensed by the Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure can be referred by a family member, colleague, patient hospital, employer, or by the KBML. Healthcare professionals may also self-refer.

 

What are some possible reasons for referrals?

Being under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances in the workplace, Disruptive or inappropriate behavior, Boundary violations with patients or staff, DUI
